Giving Horses a Second Chance
Horses end up needing rescue or intervention for many reasons, which are rarely any fault of their own. Some owners fall on hard times or just lose interest. Sometimes owners get in over their head or have too many horses. In some situations horses just end up in the hands of bad or ill owners and need total rehabilitation by the time they end up at Odds and Ends.
In addition to the time and care spent in the rescue and rehabilitation process, it costs approximately $10,000 annually to properly care for a horse. To continue in our rescue efforts, which we so passionately believe in, we rely on the generosity of our donors and volunteers.
